  • OOSH is open for before school care from 7.00am – 9.00am
  • OOSH is open for after school care from 3.15pm – 6.30pm
  • Vacation Care opening times are 7.30am – 6.00pm
OOSH stands for Out Of School Hours.
We are a not for profit service, managed on a daily basis by a Centre Manager and run by a volunteer Parent Management Committee.
Fees cover staff wages and entitlements, food for the children, rent of the hall, toys and equipment, and any other requirements of the Centre.
We have set Policies and Procedures for the services offered. All of our fees and policies are available at anytime at the OOSH hall. If you have any questions about these, please see the Centre Manager or 2IC.
  • For vacation care all children must have a hat, closed toe shoes and shoulder covering clothes – no singlet tops.
  • Remember to check your booking form for excursion departure times and for any extra items your child might need i.e. a towel and a rashie for a swimming excursion.
  • Please remember that OOSH closes at 6.00pm on Vacation Care days.
  • If your child or children cannot attend OOSH on a day they are booked in, you must notify the Centre.
  • The quickest form of communication is via text message on 0432 066 338.
  • Please make sure staff are contacted asap on the day so they do not stress looking for children who do not turn up to OOSH.  If you are not coming in the morning ensure a call is made asap. If you are not attending in the afternoon, a call must be made by 2.30pm. For Vacation Care please contact the Centre at least the day before.
  • Please be aware there is a fee that will be charged each time you fail to notify OOSH when your child is absent
  • Breakfast is offered in the morning between 7.15am – 8.15am
  • Afternoon tea is supplied at 4pm
  • A late afternoon snack is also supplied for children at OOSH after 5pm
  • During Vacation Care you must send in your child with a full lunch box and enough drink to last the day.
  • In the event of an accident first aid will be provided by a trained first aid officer.
  • If there is a major accident, an ambulance will be called and parents notified.
  • If parents do not collect their children by 6.30pm on a normal day, or 6.00pm during Vacation Care, and no contact has been made by the parent/guardians to inform staff, the following steps will be taken:
    1. Attempt to contact parents / guardians.
    2. Emergency contacts on enrolment form will be contacted.
    3. At 7.00pm if no contact has been made, the staff will contact the Child Protection and Family Crisis Service and the child may be taken to the local police station by taxi.
  • Please note you will be charged a late collection fee
  • Fees for OOSH are invoiced fortnightly and are due within 7 days from the date of invoice.
